Larsen & Toubro Infotech Limited is situated in Rathinam Tech Zone in Rathinam Software Park, Coimbatore. L & T designed a training room for their IT division where a 15,000 Sq.Ft big hall was proposed to be divided into five training rooms for conducting individual training at designated hours.
The Architect for the project Suket Associates, Bangalore recommended MODWAL Movable Partition for dividing the hall into five equal parts the contractor Vysnavi Construction, Coimbatore placed the order for five numbers supply and installation of MODWAL Movable Partition for the above project.
The track was suspended on to the concrete slab by means of MS T type structure & necessary sound baffling (filling of glass wool 2 x 12.5mm thick gypsum board for the area above the track) was done to arrest the sound leakage.
MODWAL utilized Guide Track with Two Wheel Roller and Center Stacking arrangement for the Movable Partition. The proposed finish was laminate on both sides & the height of the partition is 2.6 meters. The total partition consisting of 44 panels and 60 meters of track was manufactured in a record time of 14 days from the date of order.
The project was installed and handed over on time and L & T Infotech Limited is planning to use MODWAL for next project in Hyderabad.
