MODWAL is proud to announce that it had completed the installation of Acoustic Movable Glass Wall for a high end residence in Kangayam.
MTA Architects were the design firm for the project. The client wanted an acoustic movable glass wall system with a full height pass door for the access in the main living room. Also the client insisted that the panels be stacked in a remote location without any obstruction to the main area.
MODWAL submitted the design layout drawing which was approved by the architect. The panels were made of clear toughened Glass of 8mm thick in each side with remaining as vacuum. The framed consisted of powder coated black trims with concealed top and bottom retractable seals for the locking the panels. The partition is totally top supported and it does not have any floor guide rails .The acoustic achieved using the above construction was about 30-35db real-time.
The panels were installed on time and the client was very happy with the acoustic and look of the movable partition.
