PS Associates one of the renowned acoustic consultant in Chennai contacted MODWAL for design and supply of Movable Partition at lab room vehicle testing centre for Visteon Technical Services Centre Private Limited located at Shriram Gateway Office Parks, Perungalathur Chennai.

The client wanted Movable Partition with high acoustics which can bring down the ambient sound level of 80dB to 40dB during the testing period.

The track is suspended on the concrete slab with a small Y type fabrication required for levelling the track in line with the false ceiling. MODWAL utilised medium duty guide track with two wheel rollers and adopted remote parking layout for storage of panels. In order to control the sound transmission loss a foam back fabric was wrapped on to the panels and served as panel finish. The track and panel was installed on time and on site testing was conducted by MODWAL which resulted in effective sound control of 35dB to 40dB at site.
